Hi, I’m Jessie, the owner of Happy Hounds and Horses.

 

For many years, I built a successful career in management accounts while raising my family. As a busy working parent, I understand how important it is to know that your beloved pets and horses are being cared for by someone trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare.

 

Now that my children are grown, I have chosen to return to what has always been my true passion – caring for animals. Horses have been a significant part of my life for many years, and my love for both horses and dogs inspired me to create Happy Hounds and Horses.

 

I have always enjoyed being outdoors and believe that animals thrive when they have plenty of fresh air, exercise, enrichment, and individual attention. Whether it’s a countryside walk with dogs, spending time in the yard caring for horses, or simply providing companionship and comfort, I take great pride in ensuring every animal in my care feels safe, happy, and loved.

 

At Happy Hounds and Horses, I offer professional dog boarding, doggy day care, and horse care services in a warm, family-oriented environment. Every animal is treated as if they were my own, with care tailored to their individual needs and routines.

 

Being fully insured and licensed with East Herts Council, provides additional peace of mind, but above all, my goal is to provide the kind of care that I would want for my own animals – compassionate, dependable, and centred around their wellbeing.
